The Brief

Built for salt air.

A café two blocks from the ocean needed materials that would weather beautifully, not degrade.

The Concept

Coral stone, rattan and lime wash — a palette borrowed from Lamu's old town, arranged for cross-breeze and deep shade.

The Result

A café that stays cool without fighting the climate, and ages with the grace of the coast.
